Our external client is looking for a Specialist Technical Lead (SpecialistDeveloper/Programmer) on a 08 months contract to ensure that the IT support is in place andavailable to meet the needs of the business and assume responsibility SkillsRequirements:
a) Project management skills and ability to manage teams in a systemsupport environment including providing overall guidance and direction to the team
b) Abilityto conduct user requirements gathering sessions with different line function managers and translatethe requirements into functional specifications
c) A level of proficiency in Microsofttechnologies used for application development in the environment (see table below)
d)Familiarity with configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any otherenvironment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement an application
e) Gooddocumentation skills and ability to complete the following documentation: functional design,detailed design, database design, technical architecture design, test scripts and testing proceduresand user training manuals
f) Ability to document and communicate the status of projectprogress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary
g) Ability to manage clientrelationships with the different line function managers
h) Ability to identify, clarify, andresolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed
i) Ability to review project deliverablesfor completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards 
j) Abilityto review on-going and proposed projects to identify opportunities for reuse and processimprovement;
k) A high level of proficiency in writing Microsoft SQL queries, including subqueries and cursors;
l) Engage in formal and informal knowledge transfer; and
m)Working effectively as part of a team and seeks to support the team’s goals.
