Functional Competency:·? Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the Content Delivery Industry.
·? Strong knowledge of C, C++, Java, Python, Ruby, PHP.
·? Experience using MySQL, SQLite and/or MS SQL
·? Experience with Windows Linux (CentOS) or Mac OS.
·? Strong knowledge and experience with software design, development, integration and test processes.
·? Strong knowledge and experience with broadcast infrastructure (Encoding, Muxes, Scramblers, Modulators etc.).
·? Experience in networking and web services.
·? Strong knowledge and experience in content preparation (Ingest, Transcoding, Encryption, Packaging).
·? Experience in web technologies and services (HTTP, HTML, FTP, REST, JSON, Apache and ActiveMQ etc.)
·? Experience in MPEG and DVB standards, interactive TV and STB architecture.
·? Application/System architecture design and documentation.
·? Software Integration from multiple parties.
·? Strong knowledge and experience with STB software (Application, Middleware, Drivers, CA, etc.).
·? Strong knowledge of software component testing practices.
·? Software debugging/troubleshooting.
·? Software Maintenance and Support.
·? Software Build management and version control.
·? Coordinating global software development with 3rd parties.
