Intermediate JAVA Developer – Fairlands – Permanent- R750k PA CTC

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Intermediate Java Developer. Our client is a banking giant in SA. You’ll be involved in creating online and digital banking systems. This role requires someone with a strong technical background to be able to understand the complexity of the existing solutions in place and support them with a high degree of competence.

Non-negotiable must haves:

• Java 7/8
• CI (Continuous Integration)
• SQL (Oracle, Postgres)
• AngularJS
• Apache
• Swing
• Java EE Container(Glassfish (Payara), Tomcat, JBoss , Websphere)
• HTML/HTML5/ASP
• Custom MVC Framework, Vraptor
• CSS/CSS3/SCSS

Nice to have:

• Working on Agile Environment (Jira, Confluence)
• Micro Services
• DevOps
• Openshift (docker, etc)
• Build Tools (Angular CLI/ Gradle/ Gulp/grunt/ebpack )
• IoC / Dependancy Injection
• ASP/prime faces
• JQuery
