Role details:
Prominent company in the Telco and ICT industries that focus on providing end-to-end broadband solutions to Internet & Voice Service Providers has a vacancy for a technician with at least 2 years experience in (and a passion for) networks and device management.

Key Responsibilities: Installation, configuration and support of TR-069 management system (Axiros AXESS.ACS).
Installation, configuration and support of Linux OS (CentOS).
Installation, configuration and support of MySQL.
Python programming.
Configuring and troubleshooting network management and service provisioning solutions that will require a strong networking and planning background.
Management system hardware interoperability testing on different vendor devices (DSL/3G/VoIP/STB/IP CAMERA/ IP Phones etc).
Providing support to the ISP technical departments on the Axiros management system.
Staying abreast of developments in the network management industry especially focusing on the CPE WAN Management Protocol (CWMP) TR-069.
Provisioning and management system monitoring and support for ISP customers.
Participate in the network architectural design of the infrastructure environment.
Participate in the development of the process flow of the provisioning process.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 2 years network support and network management experience.
Computer science related degree/diploma/certificate
Linux OS
Python programming
MySQL
Network troubleshooting skills
Good communication skills (must be able to communicate well in English written and verbal)
Ability to work under pressure and deadline driven
Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
Telecom or ISP background & experience (advantageous)
