Proline Sales Manager Role:

The Proline SalesManager works to improve the brand identity and market position of the Proline brand and achievefinancial growth for the company

This person defines long-term strategic goals,builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes businessdeals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market and competitiveconditions

The Proline Sales Manager works in a senior sales position within thecompany reporting into the Proline Brand Executive

It is his or her job to work withthe internal sales and brand teams, regional branches, marketing staff, and other managers toincrease sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the company

To achievethis, he or she will need to find potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert theminto customers, and continue to grow business in the future

The Proline Sales Managerwill also help manage existing customers and ensure they stay satisfied and continue to invest inProline product

The Proline Sales Manager will call on customers, often beingrequired to make presentations on technology and products that meet or predict their clients’future needs
 


Proline Sales Manager Job Description:

The primary role ofthe Proline Sales Manager is to increase the market share of Proline products by prospecting for newopportunities and increasing sales with existing customers

He or she must planeffective strategies to convince potential customers to purchase Proline products

Heor she must develop a rapport with new customers, and set targets for sales and provide support thatwill continually improve customer relationships

He or she is also required to growand retain existing customers by presenting new products and finding ways these products arerelevant to the customer

The Sales Manager will work with the customer’s midand senior level management, marketing, and technical staff

He or she may manage theactivities of others responsible for developing Proline business for thecompany

Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since it is thesales manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to thecompany

This requires a thorough knowledge of the underlining technology used by theProline brand, local market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of thecompany’s competitors

The main duties of the Proline Sales Managerinclude:
 


               New BusinessDevelopment

Prospect for new opportunities and potentialcustomers and turn these into increased business

Cold call and support the sales teamwith new customers to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities

Meet potentialcustomers by growing, maintaining, and leveraging his or her network

Identifypotential customers, and the decision makers within the customer’sorganization

Research and build relationships with new customers

Setup meetings between the customer’s decision makers and company’s sales or managementteams

Plan sales strategies for new products with respect to existing/futuretechnology

Work with sales team to develop proposals that speaks to acustomer’s needs, concerns, and objectives

Work with the brand team to defineprice points on model ranges and assist the sales team in developing quotations andproposals

Handle customer requests, queries and objections to achieve a positiveconclusion

Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiateappropriately

Present an image that promotes the company and Proline, and act as abrand ambassador for Proline
 


               CustomerRetention

Present new products relevant to a customer’sbusiness to enhance existing relationships

Work with sales and brand team to meetcustomer needs

Track life-cycle management at key customers (end of life and newproduct introductions)

Arrange and participate in internal and external customermeetings
 


               Business DevelopmentPlanning

Attend industry functions, such as events andconferences, and provide feedback and information on business trends that tie into Proline’sproduct strategy

Present to and consult with management on business trends with aview to positioning new products and developing new sales channels into selected verticalmarkets

Identify opportunities for new product campaigns & sales channels thatwill lead to increased sales

Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identifyand develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators with respect to theProline Brand
 


               Management andResearch

Submit weekly pipeline/opportunity reports and ensuredata is accurate

Track monthly historic sales by Proline product/range acrossbranches

Set Proline sales targets for all branches and support these sales teams inachieving these targets

Track and record activity on key opportunities and help toclose deals to meet targets

Build a database of key Proline customers than could feedinto CRM or other sales management system

Work with marketing team to provide inputon new material and ensure that prerequisites (like product details or pricing) are fulfilled withina timely manner

Develop and present Proline sales training program and offermentoring to internal sales team
 


               Education / ExperienceRequirement

The Sales Management positions require abachelor’s degree and a

Minimum of 5 years of sales or marketing experience ina senior position with a strong bias towards a technical background in computers, specifically PCs,notebooks or tablets
