One of our external clients islooking for a Senior Technology Engineer with a degree in IT as well as at least 5 years experiencein senior desktop support. Technical knowledge is a must and critical. 3 month contract as probationwith possibility to extend

Management of Support team locally and globally

Management of globalhelpdesk/ service desk

Incident and Service Requests SLA management IMACs usingCCSN

Provide Reports and Stats to Managements including Trend Analysis

Host Weekly Team Operations Meetings and Global Incident Escalation Meetings

Annual DR Test

Mentor and support the team with high level  incidents andescalations

Primary contact for all escalations and issues from Global team

Company Backups and Tape Management

3rd Part Contracts- Hardware/Software ,Warranties and Maintenance

Desktop Hardware and Software supportincluding Remote Sites

Siemens telephony support and administration

Process implementation and continuous improvement

IT Project Management and NewTechnology Testing

VIP Support and Care Visits

Deliverables
Helpdesk Support:


Monitor flow of support tickets to resolve and escalate incidents andrequests within the established timeframes

Provide remote and on-site support forwindows based and other COMPANY standard software applications

Troubleshoot anddiagnose problems related to workstations, network availability and application availability

      Install, Move, Add and Change (IMAC)services;
Provision new computers with provided Operating System images andapplication software

Assist COMPANY IT users (Users) with moves and networktransitions


      Local Area Network(LAN) support;
Provide network computing support for workstations and systems

Assist users in resolving network computing related hardware or software problems

Troubleshoot LAN problems with COMPANY external teams i.e. HP\SMC, ATOS Back office,etc.

Engineers will be based full time onsite in Johannesburg


          One of the senior engineers willperform the function of team lead and will be required to do call coordination and provide VIPsupport to Executives.
