Job Purpose To provide expertise, system development and support on SAP BPC (Business Planning andConsolidation) technology solutions in order to achieve business objectives. Outputs Perform complex development and configuration activities specifically on SAP BPC – NetweaverVersion on SAP BW. Ensure maintenance of current system solutions for SAP BPC. Conduct assessments and use information to advice, make recommendations and facilitate improvements. Analyse and make recommendations about improvements to systems, procedures and associated area'spractice Contribute to the optimum utilisation of org. resources, advising on effective planning anddevelopment of area of specialisation resource plans Draw on own technical or professional expertise, knowledge & experience to identify & recommendtactical solutions to defined problems in practices Integrate business information, compare, analyse & produce reports to identify trends, discrepancies& inconsistencies for decision making purposes Optimise goal achievement through tactical strategy implementation and optimisation of practises,processes & systems across an internal value chain Plan for value-added, continuous practice & system improvements to deliver on objectives to enhancetactical implementation and excellence. Proactively identify interconnected problems, determine its impact and use to develop best fitalternatives; best practice implementation solutions Translate top down policy in relation to own practice area and communicate impact to relevantstakeholders Recommend changes to optimise processes, systems, practice area and associated procedures andexecute the implementation of change and innovation. Skills and Experience
Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Information Technology or finance with at least 8years' experience in SAP BPC. 3-4 years’ experience at a SAP specialist level. SAP BPC 10/10.1 certification is an advantage SAP IP / SAP BPS/BCS would be an advantage The ideal candidate will have the following competencies: Ability Design, develop and enhance application software Provide efficient and effective end user support to SAP BPC & BW end users as well as system upkeepand maintenance Understand functional requirements of users and translates them to IT requirements and proposedsolutions to address them Read and write BPC Script logic and ABAP programming languages Identify and use a variety of complex tools and new technologies to improve systems and delivery ofservices Experience SAP BPC and SAP BW development, configuration and Implementations Application Development, system support and maintenance Financial processes for budgeting, forecasting and headcount planning SAP Full Life cycle implementations (from blueprint to go-live) Knowledge Advanced/complex analytical techniques - problem solving with efficient incident resolution SARS functional policies and procedures IT Strategy and Planning Software and hardware interfaces, programming, development and debug solutions Behavioural Competencies Custom Questions Candidate Requirements To qualify, the candidate will have to meet the following requirements.
