Our client, a leading distributorof hardware products has a challenging and rewarding position available for a Brand MarketingAssistant

Purposeof position:
Responsible for executing product branding and promotional programs,creating, obtaining approval, securing vendor funding, execution, and claiming for all Vendorsfunds, completing proof of performance – regionalized.
Key ResponsibilityAreas:
Ensures the integrity and quality of all marketing and branding efforts
Ensure funding support for all channel recruit, enable & growth programs and strategies
Executes the brand marketing campaigns, including Co-operative and Vendor/Channel / End Usercampaigns
Conceptualise and prepares direct & indirect mail campaigns
Directs andcommunicates with external marketing suppliers on ongoing campaigns
Conceptualise, implementsand manage promotional programmes & events in line with pre-agreed budgets and according toCompany procedures
Assists in evaluating market reactions to, and perceptions of, advertisingand promotional activities
Assists with controlling marketing and branding results, ensuringthat corrective action takes place to be certain that achievement of marketing and brandingobjectives are within designated budgets
Managing, claiming and collection of vendor fundingin accordance to relevant vendor’s T&C’s
Any reasonable and lawful instructionrelated to work and given by an authorised person
Manage Vendor leads through the leadgeneration tool
Drive lead generation campaign
Report on vendor leads and the leadgeneration campaign and its return on investment
Maintain accurate and up to date resellerdatabase
Manage all vendor campaigns
Liaise directly with vendor when necessary
Report on the campaigns return on investment
Draw up and adhere to press release plan
Assist with identifying press releases
Instruct and manage freelance writer
JobRequirements:
Education & Experience
Matric/Grade 12
MarketingDegree/National Diploma (preferred/optional)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as aMarketing role
Technical Competencies:
Knowledge of marketing, communication and eventmanagement.
Knowledge of the ICT in Africa (including SA region)
AdditionalRequirement
Applicants must have no criminal record
Must have own transport and validdriver’s license
