Our client requires a dynamic and analytical CIO to establish and execute short and long term IT strategies to ensure the effective delivery of reliable data and IT services for their clients both locally and internationally.Purpose of the role:
- Establish short and long term IT strategies
- Ensure that IT infrastructure and services are effectively designed and maintained
- Manage operational systems
- Procure, design and maintain enterprise systems
- Apply accountable structures and procedures to manage IT risks and exposure
- Process management to identify and shortcomings and establish efficiencies
- Coordinate change effectively to minimize outages and downtime
- Streamline the Research and Analysing process and implement improvements
- Plan and implement infrastructure changes necessary for growth
- Establish efficient off-site hosting solutions for in-house and customer applications
- Coordination of corporate functions at a Senior and Executive level

Qualifications and experience required:
- Relevant Higher National Diploma or Degree IT
- 10 + years’ hands-on experience in IT technical, infrastructure, applications, service and support as well as application/ software deployment
- 10 + years IT people and resource management

- Project Management
- Software Development Life Cycle Management
- Database skills
- Software development skills and experience
- OSI layer understanding, networking, service and support
- Operational management of technical and HR resources in IT
- Programme management of products and deployment of proprietary developed services
