Our client, a leading Telecoms Company, is looking for a suitably qualified Technical Operations Support Analyst to join the exciting organisation. The successful incumbent will be responsible for problem tracking, management and reporting as well as internal server maintenance. They will also be required to perform operations, configuration and maintenance on production systems.

• Perform operations, configuration and maintenance on production systems • Track, manage and report on incidents • Conduct SQL scripting and DB maintenance • Identify enhancements to improve supportability, operability and performance of systems • Ensure SLAs are met for external and internal clients in terms of mean time to respond and mean time to resolve issues • Maintain the internal servers and perform day-to-day IT admin tasks • Provide after-hours support according to a standby schedule
• Previous production system support work • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Ability to adapt to changes and learn quickly • Capacity to work under pressure • Ability to share knowledge and contribute to a team • IT admin experience • The ability to identify product gaps and liaise with development and architecture teams to outline requirements • Telecoms Industry experience highly beneficial
Education / Qualifications
• Microsoft SQL Management Studio • SQL Database Maintenance • Support and Configuration of Java Applications • Application monitoring support • Microsoft Office (Advanced) • Knowledge of MS SQL utilities e.g. Scheduled Jobs, Store Procedures, Indexing etc • Knowledge of Windows operating systems
