CORE DESCRIPTION:

Perform ITAM call management for several ITAM processes to ensure ITSM and SMART-IT are updated with required information and reporting is done accordingly.

KEY DELIVERABLES / PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

• IT Asset Management Call Administration
- Perform Request and incident management for the in-scope ITAM processes
- Perform user communication on the in-scope calls logged
- Update all calls assigned and escalate prior to any SLA breaches as per the call management process
- Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports as defined by the customer ITAM manager
- Action on escalations and provide prompt feedback
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the call logging system
- Attend to escalations and ensure all calls assigned are attended to
- Perform call quality updates to ensure call integrity
- Manage customer expectations through continuous feedback on the call status
• Perform User Communication on in-scope ITAM Calls
• Perform Request and incident management for the following ITAM processes:
- Request for asset information
- Asset repairs
- Lost and Stolen Assets
- Staff Asset purchases
- Asset returns related to Terminations (Leaver)
- Asset Retrievals related to projects and BAU requests
• Ensure ITSM and Smart-IT are updated with required information as per calls logged
• Provide related Reporting as agreed
• Attend to customer escalations and e-mail responses
• Action on escalations and provide prompt feedback
• Assist in identifying any process improvements as required
• Manage all calls according to the set SLA’s


EXPERIENCE:

• 1-5 Years ITAM experience
• Minimum 1-year Hardware Asset Management experience preferred


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric
• ITIL V3 Preferred
• Knowledge of ITAM Tools (ITSM, Smart-IT & Remedy preferred)
