A large ITdistribution company in Midrand is looking for a Business Development Manager with HP product salesexperience

Duties:

Promote the sale ofproducts by identifying client relationships, increasing the skill level within the company andadvising clients in configuration and pricing of the solutions
Promote the sale of productseffectively and efficiently to customers via personal visits, telephone and email contact, marketingand training events
Prospect for new customers and generate interest in products withclients currently no reselling from the company
Identify and develop underperformingcustomers
Work closely within the vendor on deals/tenders to ensure they are secured forthe company and its resellers
Involve the vendor and sales in customer meetings, be tactfulin the approach and follow through with at least three key action points per meeting
Workclosely with resellers, understand their targets from the vendor and gain majority market sharewithin their businesses
Provide first level technical advice on products and keep customersinformed of new developments in product set
Professionally and efficiently manage customersengagement with a view to maximizing the client experience
Report on lost deals withreasons and pending deals (pipeline)
Display accuracy regarding messages, quotes, ordersand information given
Answer customer queries, offer product information
Consultwith clients to establish the needs of their business
Ensure customer expectations are met- order taking and delivery
Increase overall customer satisfaction of new and existingcustomers base in order to be effective in solving challenges that arise and need to be solved forthe customers
Report weekly on all activities wins and losses
Build and maintainrelationships with existing and new business partners
Business development and programmanagement within your allocated business partner accounts
Recruitment and enablement ofnew business partners
Account planning and performance analysis
Exceed salestargets
Preparing partner plans and business development plans
Training businesspartners on HP sales and incentive programmes
Facilitating technical and brand salestraining for your business partners
Facilitating and assistance with marketing events togenerate leads for your business partners

Requirements:

Matric
Drivers License and OwnCar
IT distribution industry experience
Minimum 3 years sales experience andbusiness development experience in HP products
HP product experience and knowledge will bean advantage
