Job Purpose:

To contribute to the development and maintenance of best practice models/processes through problem identification, data sourcing and analysis in order to facilitate world class risk management. Monitoring business/risk performance through provision of management information and reports, and optimise business performance by providing operational data support where required. Ensure stakeholder relationships are managed effectively.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Building, implementing and maintaining statistical risk models according to internal methodology and industry best practice.
- Collaboration with all areas in which statistical models are used.
- Keeping abreast of business strategies and changes that will impact model development and maintenance.
- Relaying technical information to non-technical business users.
- Ensuring correct governance process is followed for all models according to set timelines.
- Expert group meetings
- Detailed documentation
- Presentation at technical forums
- Addressing queries throughout model validation process
- Building and maintaining pricing models

Skills Required:

- MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Detail oriented
- Multi-tasking
- Analytical thinking

Skills Preferred:

- Statistical modelling (i.e logistic regression)
- SQL/SAS coding and data analysis
