Key Responsibilities As a Presales Consultant, your main tasks are to: Participate actively in responding to tendersand RxP’s Support Sales and Account Managers in client meetings Provide prospects and clientswith technical expertise on Automic products Determine and analyze the requirements of prospects andclients Develop mock-ups/demos for prospects and clients Conduct technical Proof of Conceptactivities for prospects and clients Work closely with the Sales, Professional Services, ProductManagement & Marketing teams. Develop and maintain close relationships with prospects and clientsHelp prepare and put forward sales proposals Speak at presentations of Automic solutions atmarketing events Have in-depth knowledge of the automation market, Take part in the creation ofvalue-added content

Skills and Experience
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent PreviousPresales experience Advanced knowledge of the Windows Batch, Unix Shell, SQL, JAVA, and Powershell querying/scripting/programming languages Very good working knowledge of desktop tools (MicrosoftOffice), of operating systems: UNIX, Linux, Windows Presentation skills Knowledge of standardsoftware factory tools; Build (ant, Maven etc.), Continuous Integration (Jenkins, etc.), BugManagement/Tracking (JIRA, etc.), Version Control (SVN, TFS, GIT, etc.) Knowledge of the most commonDBMSs (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) Knowledge of web services technologies: SOAP andREST Knowledge of File Transfer solutions (FTP, SFTP, etc. ); CFT is an advantage, Knowledge ofvirtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, OpenStack, etc.). Communicative andopen-minded Ability to work both in a team and independently Ability to act proactively, to seizesituations where individual skills are required and to generate assignments Familiarity with itemslisted below will be advantageous: Knowledge of one or more Automation solutions Knowledge ofconfiguration management tools (BladeLogic, Puppet, etc.), Knowledge of key commercially availablemiddleware (Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, etc.) Knowledge of an ERP is an advantage (SAP, Oraclee-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, JDEdwards, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) Knowledge of one or more ITSMsolutions (ServiceNow, etc.) Contact: Liesl.deBruyn@eoh.co.za
