To provide an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the Bank’s operations, governance, risk management, and control processesIT Audits and Follow up reviews
? Managing and monitoring of Internal Audit operations, including assisting in hiring, training and evaluating staff; and taking corrective actions to address performance problems.
? Manages the identification and evaluation of the organization’s risk areas and oversees the development of the annual Audit Plan.
? Manages the overall performance of audit procedures, including identifying and defining matters, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.
? Responsible for assuring that appropriate engagement supervision is provided. Ensure the timely completion of internal auditing engagements as per the annual plan.
? Identify the IT Audit and IT Risk requirements of the Bank. Sits on key governance structures as at advisory level;
? Oversees critical IT projects and advises and reports on project governance and relevant IT risks.
? Ensure the timely completion of IT internal auditing engagements as per the annual plan.
? Ensure that all IT audit findings raised by internal and external audit are tracked for timely with management and reporting to the audit committee on progress by management in resolving the findings.
