Develop and facilitate the implementation and maintenance of a fit-for-purpose Operational Risk Management Framework, safeguarding assets, customers, reputation and the interests of stakeholders by identifying as well as managing all threats to the achievement of its business objectives.Preferred Minimum Education and Experience
- Relevant 4 year tertiary risk management degree or equivalent qualification (operational risk);
- A member of the Institute of Risk Management of South Africa (IRMSA) or recognized risk institute;
- Knowledge of Compliance and Risk Management Principles;
- Knowledge of standard business law and legal principles;
- Knowledge of PFMA, legislation governing lending institution and other regulatory requirements (e.g. Basel III);
- Knowledge of Corporate Governance and Business Environment (role players);
- Financial and budget management principles;
- Project management principles;
- Analytics principles.
