Tertiary education in Engineering and Computer Science



Skills & Experience:

5 years’ experience as a back-end and front-end developer specializing in front-end development

Interest in GUI and Java

Knowledge of the SDLC process, tools and techniques specifically as applied to software development methodology

Use of a UML is a necessity

Understanding of, JEE (J2EE) server side technologies, GWT GXT2/GXT3

Experience in web architecture and frameworks, Spring framework (preferable)

Experience with an application server (Tomcat, Websphere and Weblogic - preferable)

Integration experience (Web services, JMS - nice to have), JAXB and XML Schema, Maven, SQL and experience with a relational database (DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
