Cyanre The Digital Forensic Lab, one of the leading Digital Forensic and MSS firms in South Africa, has an exciting new opportunity for a Business Development Manager located at our office in Pretoria.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead generation
• Leading and managing sales processes will be a key part of the role
• A consultative sales approach is the key for success
• You will be required to take on a more hands-on approach with the products and services
• Qualifying sales leads and opportunities will be essential
• In time, accurate sales forecasting will be required
• Managing and maintaining the CRM system will be essential
• Attending and presenting at monthly sales meetings is required



KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 years’ of experience selling IT Security services and products
• Must be comfortable working on a commission basis
• Historical track record of achieving at least 80% of yearly targets for the last 3 years is essential
• Sales of related systems, BI, hardware or e-commerce will be an advantage
• You must be a self-starter to be successful in this role
• The ability to deliver presentations in a professional and structured manner up to board level
• Comfortable with working in a team environment
• Impeccable references - Must have customer and work references as to acumen, attitude and performance



HIGHLY DESIRABLE:

• Diploma Bcom or similar 3-year qualification
• Commercially astute



SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

• A valid drivers’ license is essential
• Must be able to travel locally and into Sub-Saharan Africa (when travel is permitted)
