Superb career opportunity with highly successful established fund manager for an Operations Assistant / Fund Accountant to accurately administer all aspects of both their long (Including Unit Trusts) and hedge fund products.
Relevant tertiary qualification or part with 2 years experience in similar role essential. Suit individual with the confidence to deal with high level individuals as well as to co-ordinate a wide variety of different administrative issues in managing our funds.
Be responsible for
Client reporting (adhoc, daily, monthly, quarterly, annual - including report generation);
? Ensuring that daily control procedures are adhered to;
? Prompt investigation and management of cash, scrip reconciliation issues to resolution;
? Liaising with investment operations, Client Managers, PMs,
? Performance and attribution calculations;
? Providing information/support to Client Managers;
? Checking monthly, quarterly investment statements and performance reports; Mandate and FICA monitoring;
? Monitoring outsourced administration;
? Daily client valuation reporting;
? Monitoring reconciliations and the follow up on outstanding issues;
? Compliance (inclusive of certificates) and mandate monitoring;
? Management fee and performance fee calculations inclusive of rebate;
? Monitoring pricing of segregated priced portfolios;
? Calculation and reporting on taxable income and CGT requirements where applicable;
? Performance checking/calculation/monitoring;
