Software Development usingC#.Net and Siemens SIMATIC IT.

Software Test Procedures, Testing and siteinstallation.

Post installation and commissioning support.


Reporting

Report directly to Software Team Lead.

Software Team Lead and MESEngineers also report to Project Manager.


Areas of Responsibilities / Tasks

Software Requirement Analysis – form complete understanding of business processes as wellas manufacturing / mining operation. Must be able to document requirements in Software RequirementSpecification.

Detailed Solution Design – must be able to translate softwarerequirements into a detailed solution design based on SIMATIC IT and C#.Net

Solution Architecture – need to understand the different components of a MOM / MES solutionin order to assist in developing the solution architecture.

Development –able to develop software using C#.Net, Microsoft SQL and SIMATIC IT.

SoftwareTesting – need to have a good understanding of software testing methodologies to do bothfunctional and non-functional testing. Must be able to develop test procedures for doing UnitTesting, Integration Testing, System Testing, Performance Testing, etc.



Post installation support – post installation support on the solution will be required fora period after commissioning.


Required Competencies

Five (5) years’ developmentexperience on C#.Net and SQL Server Databases, using SOA framework in an industrial manufacturing \mining environment.

Detailed knowledge and understanding on Production Management,Production Scheduling. Inventory Management, Quality Management and Maintenance Management conceptsas per ISA-95 standard and experience with MES \ MOM solutions in a manufacturing or miningenvironment.

Experience with shop floor integration to ERP, Process Historians,LIMS, OEE and DTM.

Extensive software design & development experience coveringa wide range of systems and applications in the area of MES / MOM. Siemens SIMATIC IT experiencewill be preferred.

Experience with software version control systems (Git,Subversion, Microsoft Team Foundation)

B.SC / Engineering Based Degree /Diploma.
