Job purpose description:

Supports an Enterprise/Group wide Identity and Access Management, and Privileged User Management, service catalogues dedicated to mitigating risks through the efficient and effective application of information security controls.
This role performs the following activities in order to prevent significant reputational, financial or other loss to Standard Bank and its clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage Birth right access:

Provides efficient administration of birth right access
Ensuring that the provisioning and deprovisioning processes work
Ensuring that the emergency suspend process works

System Integration:

Manage the integration of systems and provide reports on integrated systems for both the Enterprise Password Vault and Identity and Access Manager

Privileged User Management:

On-board accounts into the password vault and ensure you adhere to the principle of least privilege when creating access levels for the accounts

Processes and Policies:

Review, develop, and maintain processes and procedures in line with defined security policies
Ensures access management aligns with security policies and standards
Raise awareness on best practices on implementing solutions with the PUM and IAM tools
Support audit, compliance and legal initiatives as they relate to King III, BASEL II and other directives
Support service level agreements and prioritization of incidents and enhancements

Continuity:

Assist with the evaluation of Identity Access Management (IAM) solutions and the implementation of the same
Engage with customers and identify issues they may be experiencing with the PUM and IAM tools
Provide input in the Identification and prioritisation of enhancements

Technology Support:

Configure, analyse, and maintain IAM and PUM tools ensuring high efficiency and effectiveness at all times
Infrastructure for the CyberArk Password Vault and Identity and Access Management environments
Ensuring timely incident and problem resolution and coordinating for the same should vendor involvement be required
Report on key metrics for security administration operational effectiveness
Assist with automation of tasks to reduce manual and repetitive work by way of writing or configuring scripts.
Proactively protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability ensure of services at all times
Participate in disaster recovery, and business continuity planning and implementations and testing for the same
Resolve user identity ambiguities
Perform systems and data health checks on a regular basis and take corrective measures where applicable

Subject matter expect:

Assist with analysing environments and making recommendations and support integration of additional technologies/systems/applications to PUM
Assist with analysing data and making recommendations and support integration of additional systems/applications to IAM
Participate in information security risk assessments and assist with addressing PUM and IAM related audit findings
Provide training to the team members and users as and when required
