ABSOLUTE ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Ideally a PhD or an MSc in financial mathematics or a related discipline. In some cases a BSc (Honours) in mathematical finance will be considered
• Previous financial markets experience in a quantitative role essential
• Front office product knowledge
• 5 – 8 years’ experience with quantitative analytics
• Very strong analytical ability and mathematical flair
• Strong financial product and market knowledge
• Excellent coding skills
• Any programming modern language, C# experience particularly desirable (C++, Matlab useful)
• Good general IT proficiency and system knowledge
Reference number for this position is MH33872 which is a permanent role based in JHB offering a CTC per annum in the region of R600-R900k per annum, based on skill and experience.
