Impact of the position
As part of ourtransformation, one of our key areas of focus is the modernization of our go-to market activities.The marketing team forms a crucial pillar on which digital transformation strategy pivots. Webelieve that marketing is quickly becoming a primary route to market for any company participatingin the digital economy. The Experiential Marketer role is responsible for opportunities tocontinually reinvent the experience our partners have on behalf of our vendors and business units.From the moment someone walks through the doors of anyone of our offices in 37 countries, toattending an intimate executive session, we expect that the customers experience to be crafted,managed and outcomes driven. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things eventing andtechnology. To be successful in this role you will need to be creative and dedicated to continuallytesting, measuring, learning and evolving your events programs. When you build something thatdelivers results, you’ll need to be able to scale your program across teams and enable otherglobal team members to leverage your work to establish similar programs. 
TheExperiential Marketer will spearhead our organization’s customer engagement strategy. This mayinclude participation in trade shows, attendance at local events, or planning and hosting our ownindustry events. They will work closely with marketing leadership to determine key events, handleattendance from start-to-finish (registration, attendance, etc.), and prove return on investment(ROI). Your objective is to develop event programs which drive engagement with our customersproviding opportunities for our customer engagement teams to build their business with new andexisting client. You will also work on developing marketing plans which provide a consistent levelof brand experience which will grow our largest accounts and deliver collateral which is compellingto our message and our customers. 
 
What success looks like to us?
 

Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting memory with our customers
Provide logistics support for customer, staff and vendor events. Tasks include scheduling,supplier management, AV services, catering, editing, organizing, and storing content related toevents
Own reporting for the team. Reporting includes a combination of evaluations such asfeedback forms and other data sources
Project manage content when needed for theevents
Work with additional vendors for contracting events.
Spearhead thecompanies event and tradeshow strategy, including but not limited to: identifying key events,internal team training for attendees (elevator pitch, demos, etc.), maintain pre- and post-showcommunication, and event attendance
Work with head of marketing and business leadership toorganize and staff customer and sponsored events
Work with marketing executive and productexecutives to develop event strategy and objectives; spearhead initiatives to meet objectives basedon lead generation, customer advocacy, and more. 
Negotiate and execute contracts forlarge- and small-scale events 
Drive marketing influenced pipeline and generateMQL’s through onsite activations and support of the sales and product teams
Analyze,track, and report on event ROI based on predetermined pipeline, revenue, and MQL metrics using CRM,email marketing, project management, and similar systems
Manage a team of internal andexternal representatives
Interact with key decisions makers and account-holders
Work with designers to ensure event display accurately represents the brand
Responsiblefor ordering and tracking event inventory include collateral and giveaways

What we are looking for?
Education and Experience
  Bachelor’s in marketingor related discipline
5+ year’s event experience with at least 3+ years of relatedmarketing experience, ideally in event marketing, demand generation, or sales enablement
Experience interpreting consumer data and making business recommendations to drive eventperformance
Experience with managing a budget
Proven experience carrying out eventmarketing efforts, including trade show planning, attendance, and reporting
Experience inpartnering with an enterprise sales and product team Demonstrated ability to manage complex andhighly visible projects at the executive level
Experience with an internet or technologycompany
 
  Strong bias for action: ability to jugglemultiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
 
  Move easily between generating big, creative ideas, and drivingongoing process improvement
 
  Proven analytical and datadecision-making capabilities
 
  Track record of takingownership and driving results

Technical
Competencies
  Experience with B2B events methodologies andsystems Financial and marketing financial principles
 
  Intermediate to expert working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, andSharePoint
