Duties and Responsibilities:Active directory support
Mailboxadministration (Microsoft Exchange, MailMarshal and Mimecast support).
Delivering first andsecond line technical support to users on all workstations (Notebooks, Desktop computers, iPads,Apple Mac) including mobile devices (iPads, BlackBerry & iPhones
Maintenance of allhardware on workstations, user profiles and mailboxes
Responsible for upgrading andmaintaining end-user software versions and equipment.
Conducting troubleshooting onall reported problems.
Coordinating and completing departmental moves with regards to ITequipment.
Participating in IT related projects when required
Providingsolutions to meet business needs
Ensuring end user satisfaction with excellent serviceand communication with regards to assigned incidents and requests
Supporting effectiveteamwork and work as part of a team to deliver service in assigned area
Performinginstallation, maintenance, incident and problem management activities
Setup and maintainVideo Conferencing equipment
Provide advanced technical support for allrequests
Providing backup and coverage support
Carry out other tasks as directed bythe line-manager
Network troubleshooting. (LAN & Wireless)
Logging callson the call logging system/helpdesk.
Supporting users remotely (Homeworkers and Lodgeusers)
Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12
At least 3years’ experience as a 2nd Line Support Technician
Busy with studies in the ITsector
ITIL Foundations V3 Certified
MCDST Microsoft Certified Desktop Technician(preferable)
