Job Purpose:

Provide specialist advice and counsel to functional/ and non-functional user personnel and projects teams on the technical speciality.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders, provides advice to business on best demonstrated practised for the specific product.
Identifies and resolves most complex technical issues related to specific product. (final point of resolution before consulting externally) Documentation of all processes, procedures and standards that enable the specific product is maintain and communicated.
Stays abreast of changes related to the product.
Develops the skill within the organisation, act as skills mentor on specific product. Develop optimum solutions that meet both business and technology requirements. (Performance, Cost , sustainability, Capacity, ROI) Design Technical Solution

Key Performance Areas:

3rd level support (on specific product Issues ) - consulted to provide problem solving in high impact incidents Participation in design forums , project forums,
Present to stakeholders on any impact or change to specific product
Provide advice on procurement of products
Participate in Research and Development related to Product usage ( ID new functionality translate for Nedbank environment - built feasibility study and migration plan )
Participate in RFP

Maintain up to date landscape views and Technical guidelines of how specific products are implemented at Nedbank
Maintaining Technology road map to align to strategic IT Policies and Procedures)

Contribute to the content of the curricula
Review vendor training offerings
Provide technical mentoring related to specific product
Participate in defining of career stream and role requirements
Attend technical specific industry forums
Provide technical mentoring both to Individuals and specialist development projects

Define and document standards relevant to specific Technology
Ensure implementation is aligned to compliance and legislation

Essential Qualifications:

5-8 years minimum with 4 years qualification/ certification or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Advance knowledge on specific products
Proficient knowledge of interfacing technologies

Certifications:

Accredited Where formal expert certification on technology is available
FPL or equivalent

Job Related Experience:

08 - 10 years’ experience in an IT environment of which at least 2 years in a senior role from feeding career streams and at least 3-5 years specialisation in a specific product
