Role details:
We are urgently looking for aTechnical Support Specialist for our external client based in Pretoria to do desktop support andnetworking. Networking experience (cabling, switches and firewall). Will be 80% desktop and 20%networking

Dutiesand responsibilities:

Second and third level desktop support
Firstand second level network support
Manage WIFI requirements
Manage image and desktoprollouts
Performs technology needs analysis
Plans, implements, and supports thenetwork and computing infrastructure plan

Skills and knowledge

Working knowledge of Windowsservers, Windows 10, MS Exchange, Office 365
administration and troubleshooting
Knowledge of setting up remote access for users
Capable of administering a 250 + nodenetwork including firewalls
Ability to support networked printers and photocopiers
Must have a working knowledge of current communications devices and protocols, server anddesktop technologies
Be able to multitask
Facilitation and change managementskills
An excellent communicator - verbal and written communications

Qualification/s

Matric with Mathematics and Science
ITIL
MCSE
A+ & N+

At least 8 years’ experience in a similar environment.
