A providerof engineering, technology, consulting and construction solutions that span the life cycle ofprojects in the power generation industry, based in Midrand is looking for a Design Engineer –Mechanical, Electrical or Civil.Knowledge &Experience:

Matric
Bachelor's degree in engineering fromeither a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which theprofessional is practicing
Minimum of 5 years related work experience in the powerindustry
Professional Engineering registration in South Africa
Previous experiencein supervising teams of 3 or more
Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principlesand applicable design guides and standards related to assigned engineering discipline
Intermediate ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned
Intermediate industry knowledge and technology trends
Intermediate knowledge ofconstruction and constructability practices and principles
Intermediate knowledge ofprocurement and contract administration
Basic knowledge of process and procedures forproject controls and estimating
Intermediate knowledge of technical aspects of the proposalprocess and business and financial acumen

Desired:

Demonstratedcompetence in written communications, decision quality, priority setting, planning, delegation, andbuilding effective teams
Intermediate knowledge of other disciplines and ability tointerpret engineering deliverable content as assigned
