Job Purpose:
Perform operational controls work that pertains to Performance Management across Shared Operations (as specifically allocated by line management from time to time in order to achieve optimal work load distribution amongst job holders.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• The definition and appropriate classification of a set of performance metrics to measure performance in line with the financial-, business-, service delivery-, risk- and DR & BCM performance management requirements of GTI.The design and maintenance an all inclusive associated multilevel type balanced performance score card for Shared Operations. The score cards (or dashboards) shall continuously pursue automation maximisation and ease of use.
• Set up and implementation of business rules and tools to obtain periodic metric data to enable the score cards.
• Continuous assessment and analysis of performance and recommendations for adjustment of management controls to improve performance.
• The definition and appropriate classification of a set of performance metrics to measure performance in line with the financial-, business-, service delivery-, risk- and DR & BCM performance management requirements of GTI.

Preferred Qualification and Experience:
• National Senior Certificate
• Formal qualifications relating to Performance Management

Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise:
• General technical knowledge of information technology infrastructure, specifically related to operations management and performance management (performance score cards)
• Intermediate knowledge of best practice methodologies pertaining to IT service operations utilised in the banking vertical and in the IT industry in general (ITIL and ISO 20 000).
• Ability to translate technology detail into business language and vice versa to senior managers.
• Performance management experience in complex technology environments (at least 3 years).
Demonstrable track record.
Good understanding of the current state and strategic direction of IT Infrastructure.
Good understanding of the business climate and technology needs in the global enterprise.
Negotiation experience, particularly across the geographies and cultures of a large organisation.
Experience in dealing with customers and suppliers
