QUALIFICATIONS:
• Matric
• A+/N+
• MCTS (MCITP desired)
• ITIL Foundation
• Additional technology related certification

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Experience on desktops, laptops, terminals and printers
• Supporting MS Office Applications
• Supporting Windows operating systems
• Supporting users working from Terminal servers
• Experience on servers

KEY PERFORMACE AREAS:
• High standard of customer liaison and presentation
• Good telephone manner as well as good customer facing skills
• Excellent Outlook, Word and Excel usage skills
• Ability to follow processes
• Log all calls via the call management system.
• Assist with IMAC (Install, Move, Add and Change) relating to hardware and software
• To provide technical support for onsite and remote persons via telephone, email and ‘face to face’.
• To maintain exceptional service for all support queries
• Ability to identify a business requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions
• To take ownership of technical problems.
• To be pro-active when dealing with requests.
• Keep people up to date with requests in progress.
• Support the end-users of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice.
• To escalate Back Office problems
• To liaise with relevant third parties to resolve technical issues.
• Assist with the purchasing of IT related equipment.
• Keep the storeroom neat and organized with assistance of a team.
• Prepare equipment to introduce to the customer environment.
• Deliver on tasks contributing towards project delivery.
• Contribute to delivering an after-hours rotation based standby service.
• Be prepared to travel to remote customer sites (local and abroad) on occasion.
