Incumbent must be in a position to initiate and grow customer base within set budget and time frame guidelines
Liaison with existing Transport Sub-contractors.
Actively seeking new customers.
Seeking new suitable transport sub-contractors.
Appropriate vehicle sourcing.
Administration, which includes debt control, budgeting, administration.
Finalising and administering transport queries for Customers and Sub-contractors.
Quotations, formalisation and presentation of transport quotes to customers.
Negotiation of transport rates with both Customers and Transport sub-contractors.

Matric with a Diploma in Road Transportation Management or equivalent qualification will be advantageous.
Minimum of 2 years experience, where same or similar duties were performed.
Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Windows 2000.
Good organisational, verbal and written communication skills.
