By working closely with the Business and Development teams, identify and recommend innovative acquiring payment methodologies and solutions that best fit requirements and needs of Vodacom customers across Customer and Enterprise business units
Ensures delivery of solution within scope, budget and schedule
To perform business analysis and process engineering by assessing the business concept and objective in terms of feasibility, impact and cost.
Identify and recommend a portfolio of innovative acquiring products including QR, integrated POS and Tap on Phone payment methodologies and solutions that best fit requirements and needs of Vodacom customers across Customer and Enterprise business units
To ensure that user requirements and processes within the Payments and Acquiring business unit is documented, developed and delivered and get involved in designing optimal solutions including process optimization that meets the objectives of the business portfolio.
To provide critical input to the team around latest payment and Fintech trends and developments, thereby guiding the development of new products and capabilities

Supports the Payments and Acquiring product manager in the formulation of initiatives by determining problems and identifying business needs to ensure that the business needs are aligned to the business strategic and tactical goals.
To document, own the product and manage changes to requirements throughout the project life cycle by capturing requirement attributes and building a traceability matrix
Identify the risks related to changes in requirements, determine the impact those risks may have on the ability to deliver benefits, and recommends actions to mitigate risks where possible.
To ensure effective communication and liaison with all stakeholders
Is involved in testing and training to ensure solutions developed meet the business requirements and quality standards.
Provide leadership and coaching to the team on process, design and business analysis principles
To provide technical input into system definition and design activities and facilitate the delivery of value added solutions.
To research / investigate current industry trends and standards in terms of technologies deployed / planned to be deployed and how that can enhance / optimise systems.
To act as a technical liaison between business and the technical teams and to ensure the required support from all areas to ensure delivery of quality solutions.
To research, define and maintain industry best practices within the Systems Division with respect to the above and other delivery processes
To maintain, re-evaulate, optimise or automate existing business processes
To perform quality assurance across business analysis documentation, vendor documentation, proposals, technical designs, test documentation and operational handover documentation

A minimum of 5 years Business Analysis and process engineering experience within the Payments and Acquiring Industry (essential) with exposure to:

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Matric or equivalent (essential)
3 year diploma/degree, (IT / Business / engineering) (essential)
Certification in Business Analysis (desirable)
