Our client based in Dubai is looking to appoint a Senior Facilities Development Manager. The company is a private residential, leisure and commercial developer in Dubai and the Middle East. They have expanded rapidly into North Africa, Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. At the heart of company’s culture lies the desire to deliver a luxury vision for customers. To ensure developments are delivered to the highest possible standards, they provide the right working environment for talented employees, select only the finest partners, develop projects in prime locations, and use the most sophisticated building materials. They are looking for someone who would consider relocation to Dubai to form part of their team of Project Managers within the building sector. They are looking for candidates with good technical abilities and who have more than 10 years working experience on commercial building projects (Luxury estates, hotels, hospitals, shopping centres and related buildings projects). The ideal person will be required to work on several large scale projects across Dubai ranging from AED300m to AED1Billion. Furthermore, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the Facilities Development Division and directing the construction of complex public infrastructure and building projects, from establishment of project scope through completion of construction. The Facilities Development Manager will oversee a team of Project Managers and report directly to the Vice Presidents and Chairman of the company. It is therefore a prerequisite that the suitable candidates should have the ability to manage projects extensively, including handling project cost and contracts, to ensure the smooth running together with all other sub contracts on the projects. This role will best suit someone who has the ability to manage large building projects from conception to completion. A high focus on cost control and management is essential.
They will arrange all the visa’s and relative documentation to ensure an easy transition for you and your family. The only thing you will need to do is medical clearance and police clearance where necessary. The process will be discussed with you in the interviews by the client.
