Role details:
The services of the Primavera P6 Systems Analyst will be to fulfil the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all Eskom instances:

• Development of SQL and other related programming requirements for uploading of EPS, OBS Resources and Project data into Primavera P6 to reduce user updates and ensure an efficient alignment.
• Development of scripts for data validation in Primavera P6 and verify data integrity.
• Assist with Project data downloads and alignment to Master Data uploads
• Skills Transfer on all activities
• Perform verification and optimisation regarding
o EPS and OBS
o Resource uploads
o Business Categories
o Upload Files
o Calendars
o Archives
o Role implementation and alignment
o Project template development
o Project Grouping
o Project importing and exporting standardisation

Purpose of the role Functional SME on the project
Key Technology Skills Required Oracle Primavera P6 Expert and SQL.

Key Skills Required • Minimum 5 years Oracle Primavera P6 functional implementation experience
• Must have Primavera P6 and SQL development capability
• Needs to know Primavera P6 Administration
• Experience in supporting and analysing production databases.
• Understanding of the relevant technology and industry standards, as well as best practices for the implementation of Oracle solutions.
Key Responsibilities • SQL and related programming
• Scripts for queries and data validation and integrety.
• Document Skills Transfer sessions.
• Assist during the testing of the project
• Provide effective guidance on Oracle database or script optimisation and improvements.
• Implement repositories, tables, scripts or other components required for the development of the overall solution(s) on all instances.
• Provide up-to-date guidance on the relevant technology and industry standards, as well as best practices.
• Need to resolve the application end-to-end functional issues with the relevant application and integration teams.
• Collaborate with different teams within the Oracle business environment and vendors.
• Need to resolve security implementation and certificate issues
• Work closely together with the Application Development Support Leads of the interfacing systems and EPMO

Key Deliverables
The following deliverables are required to be completed by the Functional Specialist for all Instances:

• Create EPS Nodes aligned with SAP HR Structures as per SAP HR Coding
• Develop OBS and upload HR SAP Resources and other as defined by business.
• Create Archive Instances
• Instance for Contractor Schedules created for Central
• All Projects Complete - OLD verified with Script to confirm projects are moved to Archives and Delete projects
• Global Calendars Script to identify project links, assist with update as per Standard
• Project Calendars Script to identify project without Project Calendars
• Vendor / Contractor User Access Central Database for Primavera P6 solution
• Vetting of User Roles Created - Primavera P6
• Assist Divisional / OU Super Users with aligning new User Roles and replacement of old User Roles
• Creation of Project Templates - WBS PLCM Phases for Master Schedules and EPS for all Templates
• Assist with Project Codes clean-up and deletion of all non-standard and used Project Codes. Scripts to identify and facilitate deletion of un-used data
• Assist with creation of Project Codes
• Assist with Project Codes Grouping if required
• Create upload files for UDF and Project Codes
• Assist with Primavera P6 data downloads.
Coaching and Mentoring Skills Transfer: To EPMO and ITSO
• Documentation on Skills Transfer sessions including Coaching (shadowed by ITSO and EPMO resources)
• Informal training sessions as and when required by Business
