Role details:
We are seeking to employ an IT Service Manager to be based in Johannesburg. The IT Service Manager will be the face of the IT in the business by managing intercompany and intradepartmental relationships and to enable the business through proactive initiatives and service support.

Required Skills:
• Sound knowledge of enterprise wireless networks
• Operate all systems and use all resources pertaining to this job
• Operate a computer and relevant software – Word, Excel, Opera PMS
• Recommend new ways of doing things e.g. by revising policies, and procedures as well as doing computer analysis
• Accumulate information, record data, analyse and compile reports with recommendations for SLA and call time resolution improvement
• Search out opportunities to streamline procedures to make check-in and check-out quicker
• Apply management and leadership principles and processes
• Think analytically to troubleshoot
• Ability to listen
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
• To promote and initiate processes
• Have a strong capability to communicate effectively
• To motivate and initiate processes
• Produce relevant and accurate information and reports
• Develop collaborative partnerships with vendors and other IT support teams within a service delivery ethic, as opposed to only managing them
• Coach within area of expertise and provide on-the-job-training
• Solid IT Service Management experience
