• BSc Degree ONLY in Software Development / Computer sciences

Technical Skills
• At least 7 years work experience
• At least 5+ years .Net experience (C#, ASP.Net or VB.Net)
• Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
• Database experience (SQL server 2005- 2008)
• Relational database design and implementation
• Stored procedures, views and triggers
• SharePoint
• Crystal Reports experience
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience
• HTML and Web-services
• Web 2.0 technologies
• Visual Studio 6.0, Visual Studio .NET
• Relational Database design
• Adobe Forms
• iMIS (advantageous)
• Mobile development (advantageous)

Job duties:

• Leading a team of developers in the development, support and maintenance of systems.
• Developing, sustaining, supporting and enhancement of multiple systems.
• Working with different system owners for application integration and data exchange between systems.
• Performing system testing and code reviews.
• Database Analysis, Design, Normalization, Manipulation of SQL Server databases.
• Setup of Application Dev environment with the required development tools.
• Operational and procedural functions and all interfaces.
• The resolution of user issues and requests as well as maintenance of systems and related interfaces.
• Coding of new software applications and/or the modification of existing software applications.
• Communication with business, users and other stakeholders regarding requirements, design reviews and prototype presentations.
• Communicating the state of the backlog and any changes to the backlog.
• Coding and other standards and adhere to the standards.
• Documentation of architecture, design and other relevant artefacts.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions using C#, ASP.NET (MVC and Web Forms), and Javascript Frameworks as your tools and Visual Studio as your environment.
• Lead a team of developers
• Participate in technical design meetings with business and other developers and assist in defining the system architecture and choosing technologies.
• Work on a cross-disciplinary Agile team to develop, estimate, test, and maintain our systems, while collaborating with team members on product backlog grooming, sprint planning, execution and review.

Reference for this position is Software Developer Team Lead which is a permanent position based in Illovo offering a salary of R 950 000 per annum with Medical aid and Provident Fund.
