Job Requirements / Specifications:Civil Engineering Degree (preferable)
Professionally Registered Engineer (preferable)
Certification in line with Quality and Standards relevant to the Civil Construction Community will be required
The candidate must have a strong leadership style and execution skills which forces respect by delivery teams.
Must be deadline driven within budget and deliver to required quality.
Solid experience with regards to turnkey projects from contract inception through to end deliverables; adhering to contract obligations and conditions.
10 – 15 years’ experience in industrial, building and civil construction projects management.
Must be able to take full and ultimate ownership and accountability of Projects.
Strong contract management background - Experience in managing client expectations as well as third party contractors and suppliers with a strong hand.
The successful candidate will have near full authority over projects with regards to appointment of sub- contractors and must take ultimate accountability for projects in line with contractual obligations per project.
Together with a delivery management team, will manage the output of resources (600 – 1000 resources).
Project value will range from R400 million upwards, therefore must have successfully managed projects of a similar nature (Clear demonstration of successful projects of this size and nature is mandatory).
Project will comprise of Local and International projects
Salary is highly negotiable based on experience and skillset -plus project performance incentives (milestone based)

70% office bound
20% local travel
10% international travel
