Business Degree or Diploma / Qualification or Experience in Sales Methodologies
Experience:
5 -7 years’ experience Sales
5 years’experience in solution sales for IT Software and applications
5 years’ Banking/Financial Services Industry experience
New Business Development
Strong understanding of banking sector processes
Research potential customers (VIP/SPINmethodologies)
Qualify/Quantify opportunities
Plan and manage business portfolioand territory according to an agreed market development strategy and segment.
Understandingof banking software solution offeringsfor Target Market
Engage with marketing for new business activities and leadgeneration
Capture/Manage all leads and opportunities in CRM
Maintain a databaseof potential customers
Engage with C level management
Ability to present andposition service offerings
Understand solution sales approach and methodologies
Engage customers in solution sales approach
Closes new business deals by coordinatingrequirements
Account Management:
Maintain and developexisting and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevantinternal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer andsatisfaction.
Understand account structure and key decisions makers
Define accountplans for accounts
Define strategic selling approach for customers
Communicate,liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate thedevelopment of profitable business and sustainable relationships
RFP's andProposals:
Engage and take the lead in tender processes
Work withProduct Managers and SME’s to define solution
Ensure the RFP response is tailored tothe clients micro vertical
Delegate and manage RFP response
Work with Bid Officeto plan and submit response successfully and on time. Ensure what the client wants is what we position
Sales Co-Ordination
Must have skills to manage internalco-ordination of presales and RFP engagements.
Take lead in customer demonstrations toensure presentation, demo etc. aligned to customer expectations
Brief presales team oncustomer requirements
Update and Maintain Sales Pipeline:
Update and maintain customer and prospect contact activities In Microsoft CRM as well as anaccurate sales pipeline and forecast.
Ensure all RFP and proposals are loading on internalportal
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reportsand information.
