Design, creation, testing and documentation of new and amended programs from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed standards and ensure smooth operations of relevant IT systems that complement the business.

Data modelling, procedural and technical designs according to application development methods, techniques and standards

Required Competencies
Qualification
A tertiary qualification in ICT, Commerce or equivalent qualification.
o (B.Com Information Systems, B.Sc. IT, Diploma IT (Systems Development), Oracle Certified Professional.)
Experience
4-6 years experience in Oracle 10/11g
4-6 years experience in advanced Oracle Pl/Sql development (Oracle Certified preferred)
1 year experience in Oracle Application Express (APEX)
XML, Webservices, FTP knowledge would be advantageous
Skills
Strong communication skills with a customer focus
Computer Literacy.
Information systems.
Skills in system analysis and trouble shooting
Skills in system design
Skills to develop IT system changes on an Oracle database.
General project management skills
Ability to support in Developer 6i/11g
Ability to support in Designer 6i/11g
Fluent in PL-Sql for Oracle 11g
Java scripting
