Job Purpose This role will perform a team leader role to oversee, manage and track all work performed by the Active Directory team within IT Security Operations.
This is a management role and will require full planning and management of people, technology and skills. However, Active Directory technical skills is an absolute requirement.
At least 5 years of Active Directory experience is essential.

Some Leadership /Managerial skills required
Managing a team currently will be an added advantage but not essential.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
The incumbent shall be accountability and responsible to oversee and manage the work as allocated
that will pertain to one or more of the following deploy and operate processes
Incorporation of all functions and associated resources that perform deploy and operate processes
pertaining to all Directories & supporting shared service enabling technology infrastructure across Standard Bank’s global IT operations, into one centrally managed operation.
Continuous deployment and operation of this entire infrastructure that enable Directory based shared
services delivery to GTI’s global customer base
Preferred Qualification and Experience
National Senior Certificate
Qualification (preferably vendor certified) in the use and administration of Active Directory Server.
Qualification (preferably vendor certified) in the use and administration of , AD Azure operations, ADFS, Quest ARS, Office 365, Rights Management Service and Change Auditor.
Some Leadership and Management skills will be required
Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise
• Technical and/or financial degree/diploma.
• Extensive general technical knowledge of information technology infrastructure, specifically related to Active Directory.
• Advanced knowledge of best practice methodologies pertaining to IT service operations utilised in the banking vertical and in the IT industry in general (ITIL and ISO 20 000).
• Ability to clearly translate technology detail into business language and vice versa to business executives
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
