RoleDescriptionSenior Consultant for Service Management Cape Town Our client provides IT management solutions thathelp customers manage and secure IT environments to support Agile business services. Organizationsof all sizes use our client’s software and SaaS solutions for innovation, transforminfrastructure and secure data and identities, from the data centre to the Cloud. Responsibilities: Providing subject-matter expertise on the Service Management Product: This includes productsrelated to - Service Desk Manager, Service Catalog, IT Asset Manager and Process Automation Experttechnical knowledge of and ability to effectively implement products of the chosen solutionexpertise both single multi-product solutions and cross multi-product integrations within the clientenvironment. Utilize Services Best Practices to implement products within the client environmentMeet or exceed customer expectations by delivering a solution that addresses the client’sbusiness requirements Effectively troubleshoot technical implementation issues for solutions ofchosen expertise Actively engage as part of the project team - contributing product andsolution expertise, and to provide project planning support as required to deliver a successfulclient engagement, following the Project Manager directive Ability to interact with Support in orderto open and track product issues when necessary Meet target billable utilization as defined by thisrole, adhere to Time and Expense Policy Serve as a mentor to Associate Services Consultants andServices Consultants, help build the knowledge base
Skills and Experience
Desired Skills and Experience Degree is essential 5 years’ experience in service managementconsulting and working with enterprise software products or services, specifically in the field ofservice management Intensive experience with setup, installation and configuration of ServiceManagement software Experience of using Java, web services, databases like SQL server will bebeneficial Ability to assess customer requirements, identify business problems, and demonstrateproposed solutions Presentation skills would be an advantage Broad understanding of IT frameworkslike ITIL and COBIT Contact: Andrea.Messina@eoh.com
