To carry out the detailed design and configuration of the business processes within the specific module of SAP. To provide practical troubleshooting resolution throughout the business and to give feedback to the knowledge management team and trainers in order to update or adapt the procedures.

Job Content:Operate as a team member
Continually report progress and participate as an active member of the team
''Buddy''/mentor with new SAP II Specialists
Assume additional responsibilities as required
Receive management direction as appropriate
Use ASAP methodology and tools on projects
Apply knowledge gained from each project experience to execute future tasks for projects
Interact with SAP during project
Contirbute to consulting projects by analysing business processes and design of SAP solution
Plan, prioritise and integrate multiple projects simultaneously
Assist in the development and implementation of the project plan for a project
Direct project agenda and influence the agendas of other impacted projects
Lead the execution of assigned project tasks in areas of demonstrated competence
Manage small projects or portions of large projects
Oversee all project activities leading to the implementation of the requirements
Prepare and contribute to process design workshops
Take/provide direction, configure and maintain the SAP system and provide support
Demonstrate and gain acceptance from customer
Perform configuration and assist clients in testing cycle
Select best practice and make it operational to achieve business strategy
Assist/deploy consultants in technical preparation of Business Process procedures, test scenarios, end-user documentation and user manuals
Meet audit requirements
Contribute to financial goals
Set priorities appropriately
Ensure work outputs are timely and of the highest quality
Be a strategic advisor to the business - assist in knowledge transfer, remain alert to opportunities for additional business, share client needs and market trends, substantiate proposed solutions, understand requirements and sell additional business
Build and maintain effective customer relationships - establish credibility, interface in a professional manner
Continually develop core skills, cross-functional expertise and business knowledge
Apply knowledge gained to execute future tasks
Acquire additional skills in cross-functional areas and enabling technologies
Essential Qualifications:
Matric; academic/professional IT qualification or equivalent; formal SAP qualification
Post-graduate degree/diploma; project management qualification and/or business analyst qualification
SAP certification or equivalent
Job Related Experience:
7 years SAP BW experience (with at least 1 implementation and 2 - 3 upgrades completed)
Business analyst and/or project management experience and BPS/ IP experience will be an advantage
Technical Competencies:
Standard application of the skill according to the agreed performance standards- Guidance required on some aspects of skill
Strong abilty to apply skill. Understand how the skill is applied and leveraged in the business context. Able to transfer skill to others and guide application of skill in functional area
