JOB SPECIFICATIONS: (Based In Kenya) Purpose of the position:
- Consult directly with clients, learning their business, industry, technical requirements and competitive landscape.
- Leverage your technical expertise to identify and progress software opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to define, design and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Articulate benefits of complex technical solutions and products via business terms to customers.
- Identify and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
- Understanding, obtaining and communicating the necessary information required to put a technical solution together.
- Managing and utilizing vendor knowledge bases.
- Provide complete solutions utilizing demos, proof of concepts or technologies and presentations
- Maintain relationships with Vendor sales and technical contacts
- Continuously upgrade skills to allow optimum support ability and to ensure the most appropriate solutions are proposed.
- Understanding, experience in Networking and Software solution design an advantage
- Assisting in the development of support material partners
- Building up relationships with all pre-sales and technical contacts at partners
- Consulting partners when required with relevant product information
- Provide all necessary training to partners
- Partner with sales peers to manage territory to drive new sales and expand existing business.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Matric/ Grade12
- Degree/Diploma in marketing an advantage
- Minimum 2 Years' experience in IT field
- Knowledge regarding enterprise products would be an advantage. Technical Competencies:
