We are looking for a strongInfrastructure Project Manager for a 6 months contract to Prepares realistic project and qualityplans and tracks activities against the plans, providing regular and accurate reports tostakeholders as appropriate. Project Management:

Ensures that own projects are formally closedand, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are recorded.
Individual should have experience of preparation of in depth documentation so that they are ableto prepare in depth steering packs, project plans and other project documentation for seniorstakeholders (B7 / SX)

 
Change Implementation, planning &Management:
Defining and managing the process of deploying and integrating ITcapabilities into the business in a way that is sensitive to, and fully compatible with, businessoperations.

Creates business readiness plan, taking into consideration IT deployment,data migration, capability deployment (training and engagement activities) and any businessactivities required to integrate new processes or jobs into the ‘business as usual’environment.
Determines the readiness levels of business users with regard to upcomingchanges; uncovers readiness gaps and creates and implements action plans to close the gaps prior togoing live.
Assists the user community in the provision of transition support and changeplanning and liaises with the project team.
Reports progress on business readiness targets,business engagement activity, training design and deployment activities, key operational metrics andreturn to productivity measures.
defines the series and sequence of activities to bringstakeholders to the required level of commitment, prior to going live.

 
Stakeholder relationship management
The coordination of relationshipswith and between key stakeholders, during the design, management and implementation of businesschange.

Develops and manages one or more defined communication channels and/orstakeholder groups.
Initiates communications between stakeholders, acting as a single pointof contact for defined groups.
Facilitates open communication and discussion betweenstakeholders. Captures and disseminates technical and business information.

Facilitates the business change decision-making processes and the planning and implementation ofchange.

Experience of control concepts and practices:

Knows what should be communicated, when, and to whom;
knows whocould help make a good decision; experienced at implementing or managing risk management processesand tools;

Good knowledge of firm practices inproject budgeting; aware of own cost drivers and experienced at negotiation discussions withinternal and external suppliers and customers. Specifically for Project Management:

Experienced with creatingand managing project plans
Understanding of different project methodologies (Prince 2,Agile, PMI)
Clear knowledge of project lifecycles and can describe major phases andmilestones within a project
Knowledge on documentation required during the lifecycle of aproject and can lead on its production
Can manage resources within a project plan
Can build simple benefits realization / business case

Can identify common types ofrisks/ issues, document a plan to mitigate them, and identify where project dependencies existthrough simple RAID logs
