Key Performance Areas (Position Description) - COR Functions• Obtain, manage and analyse all datasets received from Industry and Third-Party Institutions.
• Ensure the correct capturing of data for purposes of analysis in liaison with investigators.
• Assist investigators with SAPS, NPA and other law enforcement liaison.
• Attending court when required and to testify on analysis performed.
• Attending meetings.
• Identifying patterns of Cross Carries Fraud.
• Create charts, graphs tables and other visual products.
• Analysis to determine patterns of organised crime and fraudulent behaviour, trends and Modus Operandi.
Maintaining Memex Patriarch
• Create or update records based on information from a source record.
• Add files and links to a record to substantiate information.
• Creating and updating of Memex entities
• Create link charts to view and manage links between pieces of information from the source record.
• Manage and maintain records/entities added to a case.
• Identify the need for new/modification of forms used in Memex Patriarch
• Ensure that business processes are adhered to (data and system integrity).
• Handling of general enquiries and providing feedback to the industry.
• Ensure that all investigations, data and statistics are captured and updated on Memex.
SQL Responsibilities
• Perform SQL queries to extract information for databases.
• Load/Compare datasets and generate a report with results.
• Compare and report results regarding ICB entities of interest.
• Provide feedback and reports to role players.
• Liaison with IT and business component regarding needs changes on analytical systems, templates and processes.
• Retrieve and manipulate quantitative data into an understandable format
• Recommends enhancements through statistical modelling and data analysis.
• Provide feedback and reports to the COO and other role players on all current investigations on a regular basis.
• Ensure up to date recording of progress on investigations/initiatives.
• Participate during operational initiatives in a supporting role.
• Drafting of written communications both internal and external.

Job Requirements
Education and training - Senior certificate/ Grade 12
Knowledge
