Requirements:• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Senior Linux Administrator / Specialist including: - Linux Operating Systems setup, troubleshooting and application administration
• Management of MySQL or equivalent database technologies (intermediate)
• Networking on Linux and basic networking fundamentals such as telnet, netstat, ping etc
• Exposure to a LAMP environment, troubleshooting of problems, architecture and IT infrastructure
• Knowledge on Bash Scripting
• Exposure to virtualisation (VMware or RHEV)
• Server and storage administration experience
• Ability and willingness to work after-hours, over weekends and to travel as required
• Troubleshooting experience on all of the above.
• Exposure to configuration management tools such as ansible.
• Exposure to monitoring technologies such as Nagios/Icinga/Zabbix or any other proprietary monitoring technologies.
Preferred
• RHCSA/RHCE/Linux/Virtualisation or equivalent certifications
