Role details:
To ensure the delivery and support of technology based solutions, which comprises of multiple technologies positioned to satisfy business requirements in line with the business and IT strategy.

JOB SPECIFICATION

• Develops, shares, and leverages best practices across retail technology
• Contributes to the development of IT Architecture frameworks and methodologies
• Defines, prioritizes, and manages programs, roll-outs and project initiatives
• Defines new retail technology infrastructure services to support business needs, i.e. Cloud , Big Data , Mobility and Security solutions
• Participates in development and planning of retail technology solutions
• Provides details on opportunity, cost, and value to optimize technology spend
• Works with business partners (internal and external) and IT to ensure optimum day-to-day operational activities
• Gathers high-level business requirements and de?nes scope during initial discovery in meetings and facilitating large group/cross-functional sessions with internal & external partners
• Participates in the development of business cases requiring retail technology Solutions
• Facilitates the adoption of an operational excellence culture within Infrastructure
• Interfaces with vendors to understand whether vendor products will meet business requirements
• Develops strategic and technological plans to drive innovation programs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• 3 year relevant IT or NQF aligned qualification

• 8 years relevant experience across multiple areas of IT
• Track record of delivery
• Track record of managing relationships
