Matric
Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise
Suitable knowledge on Reconciliation Processes (ESSENTIAL)
Derivative Product Knowledge (ESSENTIAL)
Competencies
5-7 years of relevant experience (ESSENTIAL)
Managing a large teams
Product specialist (ESSENTIAL)
An excellent understanding of the operational processes surrounding global trading activities (ESSENTIAL)
A passion for financial markets

Job Purpose
Responsible for the control framework around trade date deal validations and reconciliations
Trade lifecycle management and business process re-view and re-engineering.
Maintain and implement controls around trade management market data management, and the rollout of new products and new business within Treasury in partnership with traders.
Trade Support is key to the business 's independent control infrastructure
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Ensure that all Data Reconciliations are actioned timeously and accurately for GMO Operations
Liase with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
Escalate outstanding recon items to Front Office and Management within 24 hours if still unresolved
Analyse all current processes and strive for continuos improvement.
Ensure that all check lists are completed daily and within specified timeframes
Identify risks and ensure that there are adequate controls in place to mitigate risks
