The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that 100% of defects in production systems are logged and assigned to developers within 24 hours for fixing. Ensuring that 100% of defects are retested before being applied to systems in production. Ensuring that regression testing is performed on systems before they are deployed to production. Ensuring that 100% of the changes made to production are scheduled in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings set for once a week. CAB logs are available to verify this KPI. Making sure that 100% of the projects (from the Programme Office) have tester resources allocated. Ensuring that all testing resources complete (on every Friday) a Weekly Status Report indicating work performed on project efforts. Report to senior management weekly (on every Monday) on quality issues and risks associated to project efforts. Ensuring that 100% of the testing environments are maintained and have 98% availability for project testing activities. Ensuring that 100% of the testing control sheets are implemented by the testing resources across all the projects. Ensuring that the processes in the Quality and Testing Strategy are adhered to on 100% of all project efforts.Qualification
Grade 12 (Matric) essential
Tertiary qualification advantageous: BSc in Computer Science or BCom Informatics
Experience
1 – 2 year experience in a similar role
