Our large client has a need for a SAP ABAP Developer who will be responsible for the analysis, designing, building and testing of technical solutions across projects

Purpose of the role:
- Analyse and clarify requirements specification documents with users and business analysts.
- Compile technical specifications for ABAP developments
- Develop ABAP programs in line with company quality standards and SAP best practices.
- Design test plans and prepare master data in conjunction with business analysts.
- Perform unit testing according to company standards and sign-off for integration test.
- Review and enhance existing ABAP programs, documenting all changes.
- Troubleshoot and debug ABAP programs.
- Implement SAP notes and execute activities related to support patches and enhancement package upgrades.
- Lead the design and development of complex ABAP applications across functional areas.

Qualifications and experience required:
- Degree or National Diploma with software development as a major
- Formal training in SAP ABAP development tools
- 3-5 year of ABAP development within corporate or project environments
- Basic training/knowledge in SAP business Workflow, SAP Processor Integrator and SAP Data Services
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong analytical and development skills
