What you'll be doing
As theproduct expert of Tableau Software, you have the knowledge and confidence to work with customers whoare making new discoveries about their business on a daily basis. Pre-sales Consultants are the faceof Tableau's products; understanding, developing, demoing and presenting customer stories to ensurethey choose our solutions. You thrive on working hard with a lot of customers, consistently hittingyour number, and doing whatever it takes to delight customers.
 
JobRequirements
Some of the things you'll be doing include…
Master thebenefits, features and application of Tableau's products
Provide presales support for allsales activities including needs analysis, data review, product demonstrations and other generalsales support for assigned territories.
Communicate via phone, email, face-to-face and webmeetings with prospects assisting and guiding them through the evaluation and selection process
Drive all aspects of successful Proof of Concepts from requirements and design to training anddelivery
Communicate daily with sales staff regarding sales activities and strategies
Provide onsite and web-based customer training and professional services
Educate and trainthe sales force in the features and use of Tableau products
Be the customer advocate andliaison for product management and development
